The Modi Doctrine

"Modiji Badalgaye....PM Modi has changed."  "We asked for a Putin, we got an Obama".....even some die hard Internet Hindus have voiced similar sentiments in recent days/weeks.  Pathankot, Wani aftermath, lunch with Sharif.....the list of transgressions seem (in RW eyes) to be endless.  With little to show in terms of tangible progress on the ground.

The growing frustration perhaps says as much about Hindus as it does about the larger problem facing India in Kashmir.  Whereas both Christian and Islamic forces have taken a millennial view to their rein, Hindus, despite their ancient origins tend to be more short sighted.  But I digress.

To even the most deft international players with a strong economy and military to boot, Kashmir and handling Islamic terror would be an uphill task.  Just ask President Obama or the French Hollande.

Here's a list of factors PM Modi has to consider before he makes any move:

1. FDI and International investor sentiment
2. India's own Islamic population and the terror cells it most certainly harbors
3. Lack of dependable domestic military hardware suppliers
4. Global governments controlled by liberal leaders from Germany to France and the United States
5. China
6. Need to prepare for a two-front war
7. Pakistan/China's 10 year head start achieved under UPA 1 & 2
8. India's internal 'Aman ki Asha' 5th column
9. International Islamic sentiment for their brethren in Kashmir
10. A divided Hindu family
11. The need to deliver key promises for 2019
12. Demographic changes making Hindus a minority in key regions of India
13. ........

Given these constraints PM Modi has had to tread a thin line.  He's clearly executing a well thought out plan (and if impatient Internet Hindus would give him a chance they could see it come to fruition in the years ahead).

Task #1:  Isolate Pakistan within the Islamic world

Task #2: Leverage threat posed by China to its neighbors to create a strong coalition to maintain status quo on India's eastern border

Task #3:  Build a strong domestic military supply chain so as to significantly reduce India's dependence on foreign governments and their own strategic imperatives

Task #4:  Rebuild India's shattered economy so as to attract foreign investments which in turn would help create a global constituency of pro-India business leaders - from Jeff Bezos to Warren Buffet

No doubt sight of young Indian soldiers being butchered by Jihadi bastards makes our collective blood boil.  But it is a price India will have to pay to sustain a long term and (god willing) a permanent solution to the Kashmir problem.

As explained here - Pakistan is screwed - http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2015/06/pakistan-is-screwed-heres-why.html

There's no need to escalate a conflict with Pakistan (even a limited one) and bail Pakistan out.

PM Modi's actions must be seen in the backdrop of these emerging variables.  By appearing to be 'friendly' and docile toward Pakistan, PM Modi is taking away Pakistan's biggest foreign policy leverage i.e. Portraying India as a regional bully

Coupled with Pakistan's now well established credentials as a rogue terrorist nation, this docile attitude allows India to further hasten the process of de-hyphenation.

So my fellow RWingers calm down and support your PM.  He needs all the help he can get.  Trust him.

Countering Priyanka

Congress' first political obituary was written in 1971, but much like the cat with 9 lives, Congress and the Gandhi parivar seem to find a away to survive.

Priyanka's introduction to active politics as the face in UP is being touted by some as the party's last ditch effort and others as too little too late.

Most RWingers see her as political dead weight.  But much as the same crowd once overestimated Rahul, they are now underestimating PV.

In almost any political contest, countering a woman, particularly one with brand recognition and no direct taint is an uphill task.  With Congress viewing her as a do-or-die effort, BJP would be well advised to prepare a careful strategy.

That PV is a far better politician than her brother is a given.  The street corner paanwala is a better politician than her brother.

But PV is blessed with a key attribute.  She appears to be very patient.  Not prone to making wild statements, not prone to reacting to every event.

Her carefully cultivated image of a loyal sister, daughter and wife will be difficult to dislodge.

So how should the BJP counter Priyanka.

1. Define her early and reinforce the image
For starters BJP members, leaders and spokespersons must start referring to her as Priyanka Vadra and not Priyanka Gandhi.  This subtle change will reinforce her image as part of the most corrupt family in India.  Every Vadra scam should be pinned on her.  Not by direct proclamation (more on this later) but through an indirect mode.

2.  Do not attack her directly.  It will only open space her to play the female victim card.  Much as a mother as a selfless widow was able to hood wink India, PV could play the 'wronged' wife card to gain sympathy

3. Pit Smriti Irani and other BJP women leaders against her.  Ms. Irani is age appropriate and has the skill set to match PV.  More importantly she draws a stark contrast between a self made woman and a dynast.

4. Use non-BJP actors on social media and other entities to bring into question Vadra's family history.  The death of multiple Vadra family members due to unnatural causes should be a talking point across media channels.

5. Define PV's appointment as face failure of the collective Congress party.  Make her the symbol of failure and not of a new hope

6. Make this a AAP Vs. PV contest.  This way AAP becomes  contender against Congress and Congress' profile is lowered to that of a small regional party

7.  DO NOT CALL Priyanka a housewife or mock her in any personal way.  There's plenty of ammunition to go after her politically.

Understanding Extremism - How and Why Westernized Muslims turn to Terrorism

Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has gained a mass following by calling for a blanket ban on all muslims till America can figure out why seemingly ordinary Muslims turn to terrorism.

What follows is an attempt to help answer the question that many Americans are struggling with "Why do they hate us?"

Americans continue to struggle with this question.  Trump has recognized this fear of the unknown and cut through political correctness to attack the heart of the issue.

But for those of us who have experienced Islamic intransigence the answer is rather obvious.

To much of the world Hitler was an atheist who perpetrated the worst genocide in Human history.

Hitler's so called atheist antecedents fail to explain his Jew hatred.  What victors of WW II have successfully whitewashed is the fact that the holocaust was a culmination of 2000 years of Jewish persecution sanctioned and encouraged by the Catholic church.

For centuries Catholic indoctrination came with a heavy dose of Jew hate.  Jews being blamed for betraying Christ which led to his eventual crucifixion.

This bit of history was used to paint an entire group of people as 'evil' and their rights curtailed and severely restricted.

Jewish ghettos and anti-jewish pogroms were a regular occurrence across Europe much before Hitler's rise in Germany.

It was this swamp of hatred which allowed/encouraged the rise of Jew-hating Hitler.  The leap from Jewish persecution and hatred to the Holocaust was short and swift.  The ground had been prepared over centuries.

It was only in the post WW II era that the western world and the catholic church curtailed their Jew hatred.  Even as late as the 60s and 70s America harbored Country clubs where Jews were banned.

Islam represents a very similar dynamic today.  But instead of hating Jews, Muslims from a very early age are taught to hate all things non-Islamic.

This hate takes two forms:
a) the obvious - other religions/doctrines - Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism.....Communism, etc.
b) Practices which are considered unIslamic - Music, free mixing of sexes, free speech, etc.

In addition, loyalty to faith above all else is enshrined as a central tenet and preached through very subtle but highly effective channels.

The practice of nurturing an animal during the month of Ramadan and slaughtering as tribute to Allah servers multiple purposes.  It teaches Muslims to sacrifice something they naturally will come to love (an animal they have nurtured) and teach the average Muslim to wield a saw to butcher an animal.

Children as young as 4-5 are taught to enjoy the spectacle of ending an innocent life.

Furthermore, Muslim children are fed on a heavy dose of Islamic supremacy and apocalyptic predictions of the eventual triumph of the Islamic way of life.

Defeat of Islamic forces whether at the hands of the Crusaders or the Marathas are either glossed over or explained as temporary setbacks.

I have known highly westernized, educated Muslims who in an occasional bout of candor have confessed to this self-belief "Triumph of Islam is inevitable".

These combined practices and carefully nurtured beliefs serve to create an primordial soup of hate and disdain for the 'other'.

The 'other' being anyone who does not follow Islam or chooses to stray from its prescribed path.

Much as Hitler was primed to make the leap from Jewish persecution to the Holocaust, Muslim terrorists have been fed on a healthy diet of hatred and supremacy to take the plunge toward martyrdom.

Without understanding and addressing this correlation, combating Islamic terror is impossible.

For the so called moderate Muslim has been exposed to the same levels of toxic hate ideology and detecting the tipping point from hate to terror is impossible.

To fight Islamic terror we must first attack the source of the hatred.  The Islamic Supremacist doctrine.

PM Modi's NDA: A Government of Hindus, by Hindus for Indians

Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues and freebooters. All Indian leaders will be of low caliber and men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight amongst themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles. A day would come when even air and water would be taxed.”
India is merely a geographical expression. It is no more a single country than the equator.
-Winston Churchill

Replace 'Indian' with 'Hindu' and the aforementioned quote could be an opinion shared by almost every pseudo secular Hindu, Indian Muslim, Christian or Parsi.

Since before independence India's political class spawned by the Congress has no doubt reinforced Winston Churchill's prophetic prognosis.

Muslims and Christians and their self-hating Hindu friends alike are prone to a long held fallacy:  "Hindu India was a superstitious, wretched, sati loving, caste ridden, impoverished land, with little to offer the world".

The anger and hatred toward PM Modi stems from the fact that his ascendancy and stellar performance in office challenges these long held beliefs.  More importantly, his continued, long term success could damage and even reverse centuries worth of labor poured into converting India and eradicating her innate Hinduness.

A lower caste Hindu, raised and nurtured by an unabashedly Hindu organization, with no help from any colonial, sickular, christian or western institution, wins the highest political office on merit and merit alone, supported by the same casteist, superstitious Hindus, destroys a painstakingly constructed narrative of the wretched Hindu who can only be governed by an outside Non-Hindu force (Mughal, British) or a native proxy of an foreign culture (Nehru/Congress).

Even a cursory look at Dalit/lower caste voices suggests a massive surge toward a Modi led BJP.  PM Modi has united Hindus like no political leader in Hindu history.

Most importantly, through shear force of merit he has offered himself as a perfect ideal to an aspirational India.  No foreign saint or deity can compete with a man who embodies India's Hindu culture and wears it on his sleeve at every waking moment.

From touching the feet of Hindu priests to observing a strict fast on religious festivals to performing Hindu rituals, PM Modi is a Hindu PM, elected by Hindus for all Indians.

And therein lies the rub.  Hindus governing Hindus with no help or assistance from outsiders.

Though PM Modi is a necessary condition for a Hindu resurgence he cannot be a sufficient condition.  Saving Hinduism cannot be a one man project.  Even Christ needed his apostles.

The burning question we should be asking:  Where are the NaMo Apostles?

An Open Letter To Internet Hindus

Dear Fellow Internet Hindus,

Even the PM would wholeheartedly accept and acknowledge our role in his historic victory.  The normally bickering Hindu ummah sunk their differences to elect a leader with unparalleled and unprecedented leadership qualities.

Each of us joined this battle motivated by our own personal/political agendas and preferences.  Some were driven by Hindutva, others by anti-corruption, still others by a desire to save Mother India.

But before NDA2 could find its feet the same army of Internet Hindus began turning on its much loved PM.  He was expected to defy the very laws of physics and basic common sense to launch an all out multi-front war on every small and large enemy of India.  From minor sickular beat reporters to China's machinations, Internet Hindus wanted instant results.  Why was Sonia still out of prison, why werent Kashmiri Pandits resettled, why hadnt Bangladeshis driven back, why was D4 part of his govt, why hadnt Pakistan taught a lesson, why was his govt dealing with some Twitter executive who had abused him on SM.......the list went on.

I had written a few posts advising patience and explained the constraints he was dealing with here - http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-pms-dilemma.html

The almost two years since this post was written have revealed a level of performance that has shocked even the die hard Bhakt in me.

While some key performance Indicators (prices, retail corruption, jobs, etc.) still flash red, PM Modi has delivered a spectacular performance on every front.

High level corruption is finished, a vibrant domestic arms industry is taking shape, 24x7 power will be achieved in the 36 month window and water and roads should be in much improved shape as well.

Politically, 'Congress Mukt Bharat' is striding towards fruition.
In addition, global economic and defense variables are aligning in India's favor. China's territorial adventurism is only one key piece in a larger emerging global landscape.

PM Modi has come prepared to exploit these opportunities and his early successes are great news for India.

But many challenges remain.  We all recognize that a repeat of 2014 in 2019 is an absolute necessity to sustain this momentum.  Nothing will destroy India more than another 2004.

BJP cannot afford to become complacent.  The opposition doesnt need to find a charismatic leader or a perfect coalition where all the pieces align perfectly.

As explained here a hung parliament is just as much a defeat for the BJP as not coming back to power.
http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2016/05/2019-is-now-part-1.html

Given these  factors we need to quit bitching and moaning on every minor issue.  Nitpick bullshit issues.  Internet Hindus at times resemble an army looking for a war.  Any war.

A bit of maturity on our part would help India and PM Modi tremendously.

Let us take a vow to focus our energies on real issues.  Defending and promoting NDA's stellar record in governance should be our primary focus.

PM's team is firing on all cylinders to deliver on promises that will cure India of its centuries old ills.

Stop bickering and work on constructive projects.  Stop going after fellow supporters of PM Modi.  Minor issues should not be blown out of proportion.

The recent attack on Tarek Fatah over his support for Mohammed Ali is great example of the needless, short sighted mentality deployed by Internet Hindus.

Focus on going after real enemies of India/Hindus.  Spend your time productively and efficiently.

2019 is just around the corner.

2019 is NOW! - Part 2 - A Few Suggestions

In 2003 in the run up the general elections, BJP won key state elections in MP, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh.  The margins of victory were decisive.  Buoyed by these results BJP's brain trust decided to advance the general elections.

The outcome of that general election is well known and too painful to regurgitate here.

As we celebrate a saffron dawn in the North East, BJP and its supporters must pause to reflect on what lies ahead.

It was a growing, confident BJP which finally pushed Sonia and her brood into swallowing their pride and reaching out to the 3rd front to forge UPA 1.

Needless to say we have come a long way from that debacle.  BJP has learnt from its mistakes.  The rapid reaction to Delhi and Bihar debacles is evidence of a more mature political entity.

What bothers me most are the eerie similarities to 2004.  Like 2004 Congress was given up for dead.  Regional satraps held an upper hand.  PM Vajpayee's popularity and stature left everyone else in the dust.

It was the abysmal condition of Congress which finally pushed Sonia into reaching across opposition ranks to seek an alliance.

Congress made many concessions to gain a final agreement.

As we watch BJP strategists and sympathizers alike make the case for the improbability of an opposition alliance between competing egos and conflicting interests, we must remember that the primary objective of the opposition may come down to a diminished ambition i.e. not to gain power but to prevent BJP from coming to power or to have BJP come back heavily dependent on a rainbow coalition.

Anything short of a majority on its own would be a defeat for the BJP.  Dependence on allies will dilute PM Modi's biggest USP - an uncompromising adherence to corruption free governance.

Imagine, for instance, Sena dictating terms in Delhi with a defacto veto over the central government.  It as the same Sena that had a stellar performer like Suresh Prabhu withdrawn from the Vajpayee cabinet only because he refused to fill Sena's coffers by compromising his 'ATM' Power ministry.

BJP's sanguine strategists are celebrating the chaos in opposition ranks triggered by a laundry list of PM contenders.  Kejriwal, Nitish, Amma, Mamta, Netaji, even Pawar - how could these frogs decide on a single leader - so goes the conventional wisdom.

The trick is that they dont need to.  A host of localized alliances could do enough damage to bring BJP's tally down to 220-240.  Enough to halt PM Modi's valiant attempts to place India on an irreversible path to prosperity.

Consider the 3rd largest state (in terms of LS seats) Maharashtra.  BJP won a lion's share of seats thanks to the complete breakdown between Congress and NCP.

I have a distinct feeling that PM Modi engineered the break up by assuring Pawar immunity in return for a free run in MH.

(Note: Eknath Kadse's recent troubles may have a Pawar fingerprint)

If Congress-NCP renew their alliance, BJP's tally could easily come down by 5-10 seats.

Now extrapolate this scenario across Bihar, Delhi, UP, etc. and we have the makings of a hung parliament.  Just what the UPA doctor ordered to re-energize dynasties across India.

Part 3:  A few suggestions to counter and preempt these scenarios and win the war before it is fought

2019 is NOW! - Part 1

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines.

Despite what some Internet Hindus may say, our PM is delivering on every promise he made to us in the run up to 2014.  The timing of deliver may be as they say in India 'plus minus' but make no mistake, he's delivering on every item on our agenda.

Defense, Economy, Infrastructure, Erasing Sonia's evil empire....the battle in on.

As most of us realize, a single 5 year term wont be enough to bring these initiatives to fruition.  For India to be set on an irreversible path to prosperity and global prominence, PM Modi needs a second, equally decisive mandate in 2019.

As we had hoped, our PM and his team are on track to deliver on key promises within the 36 month deadline people like yours truly had suggested when his govt. took office.

http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2014/07/pm-narendra-modi-must-run.html

http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2014/07/pm-narendra-modi-must-run_21.html

Equally important, PM's core supporters and larger pool of voters have come to understand the constraints under which our PM has to operate - http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2014/07/the-pms-dilemma.html

PM Modi has delivered on his promises, it for us, his foot soldiers to now begin preparations for the maha yudh that lies ahead.

Political World cup 2019 is going to make 2014 look like a Ranji trophy league match.

Hyperbole aside, 2019 will see a massive consolidation of opposition parties against team NaMo.  Two key forces are contributing to this trend:

a) The fear of what a second NaMo term would do to India's corrupt political ecosystem
b) The premature demise of Rahul Gandhi's political career

With a likely defeat facing Sonia in Karnataka, 'Congress Mukt Bharat' will have become a virtual reality by late 2017.  A belated realization that Rahul will never amount to much will place Congress between a rock and a hard place.

Switching to Priyanka in 2017 would smack of desperation and dilute their Bramha Shastra.  Moreover, Vadra scandals (intentionally held in reserve by BJP govts.) could be unleashed in a jiffy making life a living hell for Congress' first family.

Given these trends, Congress is likely to become a non-factor in 2019 elections.

The consequent political vacuum will seek a sutradhar.  A leader who can take control of the leadership deficit and meld disparate political forces into a cohesive fighting unit.

This is a tall order even for even the most skilled political strategist.  But an opportunity is certainly emerging and a leader or leaders will most certainly emerge to capture this space.

Both Kejriwal and Nitish have recognized these trends and their desperation to relentlessly target the PM must be viewed through this prism.

Capturing this emerging anti-Modi media space is one way to emerge as the face of anti-BJP opposition forces.

What both Nitish and Kejriwal will have to consider are the Himalayan egos of regional leaders with greater foot print and more potential MPs from their home states.

Mamta and Mulayam are two such names that come to mind.

While a national level opposition alliance may not be possible, localized, regional alliances designed with the sole purpose of defeating BJP should be considered a given.

Add to this factor, a host of non-state actors who will be activated to cause social discord so as to portray PM Modi and the larger Sangh parivar as a Hindu taliban, and we have the makings of a battle for the ages.

2019 should be considered a second 1947.  The year when India gained independence from India's own House Negros (http://inflextionpoint.blogspot.com/2016/03/award-wapsi-intolerance-revolt-of.html)

So friends, we must begin preparing for this coming war, NOW.  Not in 2018.  NOW.

Trump Vs. Clinton - The Debate Transcript

Moderator: Let's jump right into it shall we.  Sec. Clinton, Mr Trump wants to ban muslims from entering America as part of his strategy to fight Terror

Clinton: This would be a disaster.  There are 42 muslim countries and branding all muslims with the same brush of terror suspects would create a backlash which would hurt our standing in the Muslim world and hurt our effort to get the much needed cooperation from these countries to track down terror cells

Trump:  How is that working out for you Madam Secretary?  China has imposed the most draconian anti-Muslim rules on its citizens in Xin Jiang.  Yet both Saudi Arabia and particularly Pakistan are China's biggest allies.  Ever wonder why?  I'll tell you why.

These barbarians recognize strength and not political correctness.  You put a boot to their throats and they will comply.

I as President will do that, you on the other hand will kiss every Arab ass to win their 'cooperation' while Americans continue to be killed by these bastards.

Clinton:  That kind of language is inappropriate for anyone running for President

Trump:  Oh so the language offends you but death of Americans doesnt

Clinton:  I did not say that.....you're clueless

Moderator:  Secretary Clinton, Mr. Trump's plan is very clear and simple 'Ban Muslims from entering the United States'.  What is yours?

Clinton:  First of all not all Muslims are terrorists.  Most Muslims are seeking the same thing as the rest of us - The American Dream.  We must begin by building our intelligence gathering capability.  Build a global coalition against radical Islam and use it to destroy this monster.  If we ban Muslims from entering America, the consequent anger against us will destroy any chance of building such a coalition.

Moderator:  Mr. Trump would you like to respond

Trump:  Secretary Clinton had 4 years and her party 8 years to build just such a coalition.  How did that work out for her?  She clearly failed, because ISIS became a global threat right under her nose.  So we can draw three conclusions - either she's incompetent or her strategy is flawed or both.

This is our last chance to defeat this evil.  If we keep sitting on our hands, too worried to be politically incorrect history will hold us responsible for our cowardice.  I have nothing against Muslims per se.  But there's no way to tell friend from foe.

Both the Chattanooga and San Bernardino terror acts were executed by Muslim Americans living the American dream.  Both had great jobs, a great American education that almost assured their families and them a bright future.

Most importantly, there's no way intelligence gathering could have detected their intentions.  They left no foot prints.

Clinton (interrupting):  Better survelliance and more investments in our counter intelligence capabilities can help address that problem.  Banning is not the solution

Trump:  Secretary Clinton, if you would please let me finish.  I know even you realize your arguments are weak.  Interrupting me wont change that fact.

In order to do what Mrs. Clinton is suggesting we will need to aggressively intrude into the daily lives of average, law abiding American citizens.  So Mrs. Clinton would much rather violate the rights of law abiding Americans than ban some non-Americans from entering the country.

Clinton:  That is just plain racist.  America is better than that.

Trump:  Wait, wait...how is that racist?  I'm not saying Africans, Indians, Chinese, Latinos, Arabs should be banned from entering the country.  Islam is a religion not a race.  Islam can be given up, it is a choice

Moderator (interrupting):  Wait, are you saying that those Muslims who give up Islam can be allowed into the country?

Trump (grinning):  You're putting words in my mouth.  I did not say that.  I said that Islam is a religion, it is a choice and you can choose it.  Race is not a choice.

Coming back to my point that you did not allow me to finish.  Look at silicon valley.  Some 40% of companies are started by immigrants of every religion, nationality, race.  I dont object to it.  I dont think any American would object to it.  In fact most Americans would welcome them with open arms.

Look at all the foreign born CEOs of major tech companies.  CEOs of both Google and Microsoft, two American success stories are immigrants from India.  How is it that a Hindu India sends us CEOs and Muslim Pakistan gives us Osama Bin Laden

(Audience responds with laughter and applause)

All I'm saying is that something is going with Islam and Muslims and we're are clueless.  We have tried everything and the attacks against westernerns and Americans continue to grow and spread.  If you dont want America to become another Europe, keep Muslims out till we figure this thing out.  It's a temporary ban.

Thats all.

Clinton:  But that is ridiculous.  How can we even implement such a ban.  Who do you let in, how do you identify Muslims.  The 9/11 terrorists looked like any other person from the Middle east or from South Asia.

If we ban muslims, these terrorists will just get new identities with Christian or Hindu names.  Will you then stop Hindus and Christians too?

And what happens to European Muslims who are white.  Should we ban Europeans too.  Where does it begin where does it end.

(Audience applauds)

Moderator:  Mr. Trump, that is a valid argument.  Your plan has been rather thin on specifics.  You have told us what you want to do but the 'how' as Sec. Clinton pointed out is almost impossible.

Trump:  Mrs. Clinton's argument is akin to saying that since the neighbor's house was broken into, no one can protect our house and hence we should leave our doors unlocked.

There's no silver bullet, one size fits all solution to this problem.  Many things will need to be done if we're to protect ourselves.  For starters we could ask the highest authorities in Muslim countries to certify that a person claiming to be citizen of their country is a person in good standing.  We should also verify their online presence and examine any patterns of behavior that seems alarming - supporting or participating in online forums for instance.

Any one wanting to travel to America must be willing to surrender their background information.  They can choose not to divulge this information but then the American govt. can refuse them entry.

A blanket ban on Muslims will prevent formation of ghettos and no-go zones that have become a bane of European nations.  Brussels was a direct result of a severely understaffed police force lacking the required man power to track down every lead and every suspect.

America has a chance to prevent this cancer from taking root.  We should act now or prepare for a Europe like situation where our laws are used to infiltrate our country and destroy us from within.

Clinton: You still havent answered how you will implement your pie-in-the-sky ideas

Obama, Trump and the lessons for PM Modi

For admirers of the might US of A (and I consider myself one) understanding the rise of Trump has been an exercise in futility.  But few have even come close.

Perhaps Bill Maher said it best "This is the backlash against decades of political correctness".

In my opinion it is surely about political correctness but there's more to it.  It is the unabashed double standard displayed by liberals which has opened up space for a Trump to rise from seemingly no where to take the political market place by storm.

Western liberals never miss a chance to stick to Christianity.  Surely Christianity has done some evil stuff in the past and in parts of the world lacking a strong social alternative, it still imposes a regressive version more suitable for the dark ages.

But the liberal anti-Christian celebration is in stark contrast to their aversion to openly discuss anything related to Islam.  A combination of fear and genuine love for all enemies of America lies at the heart of this convoluted political correctness masquerading as 'tolerance'.

The same liberal women, for instance, who miss no opportunity to attack and confront Christian gender bigotry seem to curl up in a fetal position at the mere mention of 'hijab' or 'burqua' or 'FGM'.

This blatant, in your face hypocrisy is one key reason for the rise of Trump and what has now become a 'Screw it' election.

Trump supporters seem to have decided that no matter what the world says about him "Screw it" they will support Trump.

Trump's support base seems to be like an iceberg.  A much larger percentage is hidden below the surface.  Few want to be seen as openly supporting Trump.

Trump is playing a classic marketing game to perfection.  Something similar to what Raj Thackeray did in Mumbai - Attack migrants to gain media coverage and then consolidate that position.

The problem with RajT was that he did not have massive public anger behind him and lacked a credible 'Act 2'.

Trump's support seems to have surged when he called for a temporary ban on Muslims after the San Berdandino attacks.

That was his act two.  Also, unlike RajT, Trump hasnt resorted to calling for violence against migrants or muslims, instead he has channelized public anger into a viable political movement.

Some Indian political pundits have taken to comparing the rise of Trump with the triumph of PM Modi.

Not only is this argument a sham but PM Modi's rise to India's highest office, has more in common with that of President Obama.

None expected a black man to occupy the Presidency.  Despite all his stellar qualifications - Harvard being one of them - Sen Obama had a fight on his hands.  First against the Clinton machine and then against war hero McCain.

It was President Bush's complete failure on every front from wars to the economy that helped propel Obama to the Presidency.

PM Modi was similarly, able to ride a wave of discontent to defeat the empire and win a stunning victory in 2014.

To his credit, President Obama has delivered on his liberal agenda.  From Obamacare to Gay rights, the past 8 years have instituted permanent and irreversible changes within America's socio-economic landscape.

Liberals have mistaken this success for a deeper social change and have worked ceaselessly to further their agenda.

In doing so their hypocrisy vis-a-vis political correctness has yielded a political vacuum which has been swiftly filled by a bombastic, over the top Trump.

Trump's past liberal positions have shielded him against accusations of being the 4th Reich, and allowed moderate/independent voters to join his bandwagon without feeling of guilt.

PM Modi has done a remarkable job with ensuring that his post-2014 actions do not engender a similar backlash.  But his party and Sonia's evil empire have conspired to ensure that moderate/independent Indian voters view him with jaundiced eyes.

Come 2019 he may find himself caught between a rock and a hard place.  His Hindu supporters unhappy with his failure to openly espouse Hindu causes (murder of BJP workers in Kerala being the latest) and non-Hindu voters upset for his unflinching march toward dismantling the Chrislamist ecosystem that has ruled India through sickular proxies.

The twin challenges of handling a desperate opposition uniting against BJP, and a possible backlash against BJP's Hindu agenda must be addressed deftly.  He still has time.  The last thing he should do is end up falling between two stools.

This is perhaps his greatest political challenge.  Bring it on.

Award Wapsi, Intolerance: Revolt of the Indian House Negros

The darkest period of America's brush with slavery gave rise to an interesting character - The House Negro.

Definition:
"House Negro" is a pejorative term for a black person, used to compare someone to a house slave of a slave owner from the historic period of legal slavery in the United States.

The house negro was given certain privileges which included a lighter work load, better food, better housing than their fellow slaves who toiled under inhuman conditions in cotton fields and slaughter houses.

In return, the house negro served an important purpose.  He kept a close eye on his fellow slaves.  Any signs of rebellion were quickly identified and nipped in the bud by many a house negro.

Though the House Negro served his master loyally and was rewarded for his services, he could never hope to be elevated to the level of an equal.

And the House Negro did everything to please his master, never forgetting his place in the racial hierarchy.

For centuries, India witnessed a similar dynamic.  Scores of Indians and their families across the length and breath of the country served as 'House Negroes' to their foreign Masters.  What Mughals instituted by marrying into the families of Hindu Kings they had defeated, the British perfected by creating a host of institutions.  The Indian Administrative Service being perhaps their most successful project.

Like their American counterparts, Indian House Negroes (IHN) always knew their place.  They never attempted to defeat or betray their British masters.

The stellar success of this British experiment can be gauged from the fact that they engineered into existence the
Indian House Negro 'gene'.  A gene which has been passed down from father to son to daughter to grand children and continues to persist within Indian political and cultural power structures to this day.

This community of Indian House Negroes was conspicuously absent from India's freedom struggle and their progeny has been similarly under represented in the Indian armed forces.

When the British left India, they handed power over to these well trained community of House Negroes.

The rise and continuing prosperity of Indian House Negroes is perhaps Britain's greatest success story.  It has however, had a devastating effect on India.

When House Negro #1 i.e. Pandit Jawarhlal Nehru insisted on taking the Kashmir dispute to a fledgling United Nations, he was behaving on expected lines.  He was trying to please his British masters at a heavy price to his fellow Indians.

A price India continues to pay.

This Indian House Negrodom hasnt ceased.  Under an Italian Sonia Gandhi it has only accelerated.  Sonia represents a second coming of Indian house Negrodom after a few setbacks it faced, first under PVNR and then under ABV.

I'm not suggesting that Indians should hate Westerners or western cultural influence.  Despite Hiroshima the sagacious Japanese adopted several western influences.  Even their much celebrated success with manufacturing quality products came from the ideas espoused by an American Professor - William Edwards Deming.

There's much that India can learn and emulate from Westerners but it can only be beneficial to Indians if it is done from a position of self confidence.

If Indians wish to be counted as equals, if they wish for India to be counted as an equal they must rid themselves of Indian House Negroes and their Negrodom.

Since the 1980s a generation of Indians born after independence has emerged which seems less infected by the IHN gene.  Cricket is an area which has helped illustrate the rise of this truly Indian generation.

Whenever India has been led by a native son, devoid of Western influence, the Indian team has thrived and prospered.  It is hardly surprising that both of India's WC victories came under captains one would never mistake for an IHN.

Neverheless, IHNs continue to hold influence over India's power structure, a control greatly disproportionate to their numbers.

Some prominent examples of House Negros:

Mani Shankar Aiyar, Shobha De, Derek O'brien, the Gandhis, Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai.......
are at the forefront of India media and political levers of power and they continue to view all things Indian/Hindu with the same sense of disdain and hatred as their forefathers did before them.

This is the progeny that prefers 'Bombay' over 'Mumbai' and this is the same group that hates Narendra Damodardas Modi.

May 16th, 2014 symbolizes India's true Independence day. For it was on this day that India finally broke free from the shackles of Indian house Negroes.

A native son, unburdened by the guilt engenered by benefiting from a British education finally defeated the collective might of Indian House 'Negrodom'.

This victory may prove to be ephemeral.  But it symbolizes the possibility that after centuries of enslavement Indians are ready and prepared to be counted as equals.

PM Modi has birthed a new era into existence.  An era with endless possibilities where India guides the world toward a phase of tolerance, spirituality, peace and prosperity.

Indian House Negroes have no place in such a meritocratic dispensation where subterfuge, treachery and genuflection before a foreign deity is no longer the criteria to gain access to corridors of power.

It is this tectonic shift which has terrified Indian House Negroes.  And they have reacted on predictable lines.

If PM Modi wins in 2019, this process will become irreversible.  This is their last chance and they will attack him with all means, fair and foul.  But mostly foul.

p.s. If you ever make these arguments with an IHN you will elicit a familiar response "If you hate British India so much why dont you return all those facilities built by the British - railways, educational institutions, etc."

Your response:

When the British took over, India accounted for 25% of global GDP.  When they left in 1947 Indian share of global GDP had dropped to 3%.

If the British return all the wealth they looted from India, it would bring prosperity to India, but most importantly it would bankrupt the British.

JNU and the First Muslim PM of India

Outrage, anger, rage.....a deep rooted desire to kicking some anti-Indian ass.  As the anti-national fired raged at JNU most commentators got caught up in the issue itself.  But none seem to have noticed the elephant in the room.

From calling for independence for Kashmir, the JNU types have graduated to demanding 'azadi' for West Bengal and Kerala.  Kerala???  When did this happen?

Another question kept cropping up.  How is it that a motley crew of anti-nationals manage to drump up so much heat and dust?  Granted Indian media is in bed with every anti-Indian force on earth, but given that a BJP govt with control over Delhi Police controls the capital and JNU, where did this audacity come from?

A simple variable explains the anti-national storm witnessed at JNU and that is Demographic Change.

By almost every independent estimate, most urban centers across India will have close to 30% Muslims within the next 15 years.

Ghettoisation of Muslims will not end anytime soon.  With such a concentrated presence, Muslims could influence close to 200-250 seats by 2030.

That kind of leverage will most certainly raise the demand for a Muslim PM.

Given these emerging trends, it is likely that the first Muslim PM of India is currently in his twenties.

Though most BJP supporters have rejoiced over the emergence of Owaisi brothers as they cut into 'sickular' votes, the long term trend their go-it-alone strategy insinuates should worry every Indian.

When yours truly first suggested the inevitability of an 'Islamic Republic of India', many a reader mocked at such a possibility.  Given the new found aggression of Muslim politicians and their brethren the real miscalculation may be in suggesting that such a reality will be upon us around the mid-century mark.

It is in fact likely to happen between 2030 and 2040.

As West Bengal and Kerala are showing us, Muslim population doesnt need to cross the 50% or even 40% mark.  30% seems to be the magic tipping point.  With tactical, enmasse voting 30% vote bank gives every politician a massive head start over his/her rivals.

By 2025 Indian politicians will offer soft Sharia to Muslim majority areas.  By 2029 these areas may be carved out as separate states and by 2040 a Muslim PM may be the only way to keep India as a single, undivided nation state.

Demographics influence destiny like few other variables do.  With human population exploding from 2 Billion to 7.5 Billion in less than a 100 years, demographic invasion as a weapon is only a recent phenomenon.

And India is not the only country facing this time bomb.  For instance, 50% of student is state run schools in Brussels are Muslim.

If Islam achieves its green crescent by 2050, its world domination is a certainty.  Two counter forces may trip this triumphant march.

1. Climate Change
2. China

As the tiny island state of Maldives has shown us, entire countries could be whipped out of existence as Climate change becomes irreversible.  Densely populated cities such as Miami are facing a catastrophe within the next decade with rising sea levels poised to destroy everything from the sewage system to fresh water acquifiers.

Islam's triumph may represent a pyrrihic victory at best.  With uneducated and unskilled global population unable to counter effects of climate change leading to massive displacement, forced migration and economic hardship.

China is rapidly converting to Christianity.  Even the most conservative estimates peg Chinese Christians at 100 million with some estimates suggesting a 300 million mark.

China understands the threat Islam poses to its largest province - XinJiang.  It has tried to win peace by making Pakistan a client state, heavily dependent on Chinese economic and military largessee to survive against a rising India.

But if India comes under Muslim rule, this enemosity will lose its raison d'etre and Pakistan and India could easily join hands to forment trouble in XinJiang to rescue their Muslim brethren.

With such a possibility within a foreseeable horizon, China could do play a double game to fragment Pakistan if it can simultaneously weaken India.

With such scenarios not unthinkable, PM Modi remains India's only hope - If and only If he wins a second term.

The foundation he has begun installing will take time to bear fruit.  A strong, economically and militarily strong India could force an alteration of International borders and slow down the rising Islamic tide.

PM Modi is our last hope.  Hope his followers realize that.

The Impotence of Rajdeep and his Tribe

"You damn reactionary, uncivilized, uncouth, primitive, dehati, Hindus".  "Grow Up".  "And btw, yes I'm an anti-national.  Deal with it".

Liberals have a shocking record of railing at Hindus and all those who they consider to be beneath them. There's a subtle class warfare at work here.  If you werent born into or educated at the right institution you're instantly considered an outcast.

There're ways to break into this 'elite' club of liberals.  Abuse all things Hindu and now (post NaMo taking over as PM) all things Indian.

A similar dynamic is at play in the West with Christianity and America the 'great satan'.

Bill Maher the American satirist has, over the past 4-5 years, taken his fellow liberals to task on one glaring liberal hypocrisy:  The singular absence of even a rudimentary critique of Islam or Islamism.

This peculiar combination of hatred for all things Hindu and love for all things Muslim is particularly amplified in India.

Media coverage is saturated with calls for Hindus to be tolerant and reformist and 'modern' but not a word is mentioned asking for reform in Islam which is increasingly slipping toward a sharia controlled 7th century existence.

Most commentators are well aware of this contradiction.  But what explains it?

Fear induced Impotence.

Abusing Hindus generates little or no real backlash.  Outrage on social media or trolls being trolls is hardly the monster it is made out to be.

The real monster is when a mention in an exam paper can get your arm chopped off or a cartoon generates a terror attack.

So how do you appear 'rebellious' without risking life and limb?  How do you thump your chest and claim you're fighting for liberal principles?  How do you feign outrage at the shrinking liberal space at your next black tie affair?

You attack ideologies whose followers will tolerate your nonsense.

But the real monsters? You leave them alone.  Infact you go a step further and claim that said monster doesnt exist.

Every liberal from Rajdeep to Mrs. Akshay Kumar have written about the great tolerant India without mentioning Kamlesh Tiwari.  The same Kamlesh Tiwari who triggered a series of demonstrations and riots across India by suggesting that Prophet Mohd. was gay.

Given their long standing support for gay rights and atheism, defending Kamlesh Tiwari should have been a natural, almost instinctive liberal response.  But his incarceration has elicited no such chest thumping.  No cries in defense of his 'freedom of expression'.

But why pile on liberals alone, some may argue few right wing Hindus are willing to grab this bull by the horns.

There's a difference and it is this: Hindu Right wingers dont go around calling themselves 'anti-national', or tolerating calls for destruction of India just so they can claim to be courageous or progressive or....secular.

Communism - the Godless Islam?

What horrified Indians have witnessed at JNU over the past week is a common phenomenon across Democratic nations around the world.  The only difference being the blatant anti-nationalism displayed by students at JNU.

Indians are finally coming face to face with something right wingers have known for decades.  Communists, liberals and other lefties are in bed with Jihadis.

On the surface this seems like an unlikely alliance.  Communism abhors God and religion.  The founding fathers have gone to great extent to question God and all things related to the very concept of God.

In all fairness, Communists have been equal opportunity offenders, displaying the same contempt for all religions.

But in India they have always followed a policy of appeasing Islamists and opposing Hindus.  And since the demise of Communism, Communists have turned on America and the West with same duplicity and venom, aligning themselves with Islamists at every opportunity.

How can two ideologies so diametrically opposed coexist and become codependent.

The superficial explanation is 'enemy's enemy is a friend'.  But that explanation ignores a startling similarity between the two doctrines.

Communist nations were famous for destroying native cultures.  Music, culture, movies were severely curtailed to the point where great nations with rich cultural traditions were turned into dry, gray colorless, morbid versions of their former selves.

Russia, China, Cuba....you name the country where communism took root and I'll show you a desolate, wicked place where life became a dry, living hell.

The ruling elite were exceptions to this reality.  They enjoyed holidays at sequestered locations where wine, women and song flowed freely.

Many a Communist leader harbored a large harem of his own.  A flavor of this hypocrisy can be witnessed within the ranks of India's own Maoist movements.  Where women are treated as concubines and exploitation of the poor by the ruling elite is a common practice.

Communism also believes that one book, one doctrine trumps all.  Nationalism is a four letter word and ideology transcends all national and cultural boundaries.

Now replace the words Communism and Communists with Islam and Muslims and notice how the concepts are interchangeable.

Apart from Allah, Communism and Islam are identical.

It should not come as a surprise that they have now found a common cause - the defeat of democratic, free societies.  In America it is America democracy and Christianity and in India it is Indianess and Hinduism.

There's a silver lining to the ominous cloud.  Communism was defeated largely due to its own innate contradictions.  Communism was unnatural, inhuman and alien to basic human nature.

Islam is heading for the same fate.  No religion/doctrine that restricts the human spirit and forces it into a straight jacket can survive forever, no matter how lethal its contemporary appeal may appear at a given moment in history.

Mumbai Vs. Bombay

Mumbai is a city...but Bombay is a feeling.

Unless you have lived in a cave for the past decade, this meme has shown up in your social sphere at regular intervals.  On the surface it seems like a wish by a diminishing minority desperate to retain that last semblance of their last remaining identity within a city they have called home.

Personally, I have grown up with mixed feelings vis-a-vis this issue.  "What's in a name?" you may argue, but in India a great deal.

The support for the two names stems from two fundamental sources.

Mumbai:  Supported by the native sons typically Maharashtrians and Gujaratis.  Both languages use Mumbai and not Bombay in their lexicon.

Bombay:  All those opposed to Shiv Sena along with communities who consider themselves the 'original' residents of this great city.

Over the years I have personally veered towards 'Mumbai'.  And their's a very important reason for that.

Dig deeper into the antecedents of those passionately devoted to 'Bombay' and 9 times out of 10 you will encounter an individual who secretly wishes India was still under British rule.

The argument often thrown by Bombayites at Mumbaikars runs along these lines:

"We turned this fishing village into the glorious city it is today".

Not surprisingly this is precisely the argument put forth first by Mughal loving Pakistanis and British loving Indians vis-a-vis India as a whole.

It is their firm belief that Indians/Hindus were a barbaric tribe, who were saved by their respective progenitors i.e. Mughals and the British.

A localized version of this argument is peddled with Mumbai.

Surely, it has taken a collective effort to build Bombay into the city it is today.

But this argument ignores the yeoman's service rendered to Mumbai and Maharashtra by the local population and by Shiv Sena in fighting and destroying leftist unions who were poised to turn Mumbai into a second Kolkotta.

But the Bombay mindset of 'British Indians' fails to acknowledge this socio-political ecosystem which allowed Mumbai to thrive.  Instead it harbors a not so subtle 'Brown Sahib' syndrome.

This syndrome stems from a deep rooted inferiority complex - Indians are inferior to outsiders.  Primarily to the great British who gave us civilization and turned us into a civilized people.

It is for this reason that key princely states such as Goa and Hyderabad refused to join the Indian union.

It is not coincidence that these communities are greatly under represented in both India's freedom struggle and in the Indian armed forces.

It was the absence of these communities from cities such as Chennai and Bengaluru which allowed the renaming of those great cities to go through without a whimper or a protest.

In the 21st century there should be no room for anti-British sentiments.  'Mumbai' is not about hating the British.  But 'Bombay' is most certainly about self-hate.

The eradication of this self-loathing is key to our rise as a people willing to join the world community as equals.

Bombay represents an inferiority complex, Mumbai serves as an anthem for a resurgent India.

Tackling Pakistan - Part 2: A Permanent Solution

What do 1948, 1965, 1971, 1999 have in common?  On each of those occasions India conclusively defeated Pakistan on the battle field, in some instances captured Pakistani territory and ended up surrendering hard won victories for little more than paper assurances like the Simla Agreement.

Surely Indian leadership should shoulder some of the blame but one cannot ignore the fact that world powers played their part in allowing Pakistan to get away with ....well....murder.

Any future conflict with Pakistan, limited or otherwise, must be a decisive one.  India should aim to destroy Pakistan once and for all.

China, USA, Russia in that order do not want Pakistan be permanently destroyed.  In the big power game Pakistan's remarkable geographic position (a shared border with or proximity to) 2 of the 3 big powers and Iran and the middle east, represents a unique opportunity.  Control Pakistan and you can gain leverage over a 3rd of the global population and two of the biggest markets.

Throughout those earlier conflicts India has been militarily and economically dependent on world powers.  One big factor in preventing India from opening additional fronts during the 1999 Kargil conflict was the not so subtle pressure exerted by CEOs of major MNCs.

India's economy was (and continues to be) vulnerable to long term damage inflicted by a prolonged conflict with a nuclear neighbor.  FDI would disappear and remain out of reach if mission critical back office operations of firms such as GE and Citibank were under threat of military conflict.

More importantly, with India importing almost all key military hardware, foreign powers could easily cripple India's war effort by delaying (if not withholding) delivery of critical spares for fighter jets, submarines, howitzer guns, etc.

Clearly these constraints played an important role in forcing India into surrendering decisive military victories and accept an uneasy detente and death by a 1000 cuts.

Another major factor which has emerged over the past 20 years is the increasingly overt posture taken by China.  Indian military establishment has been forced into preparing for a two front war.

Faced with a scenario where Pakistan is being overrun by Indian forces, it is quite likely that China will open a second front on India's eastern border.  Even a limited engagement would render India in a very difficult position.

Two more variables make PM Modi's task much more difficult than most of his followers are willing to understand.

The Gujral Doctrine destroyed India's covert operations within Pakistan and set us back 20 years.  Even a casual observer (such as yours truly) of international affairs knows that such an infrastructure, behind enemy lines, with deep ties to strong assets takes decades to develop.  Trust is hard earned and easily diluted.

The other factor that any Indian govt. would need to consider is the vast network of covert operatives put in place by ISI during the Sonia years.

It is a well accepted fact that the ruling party in India's largest state is soft on ISI for muslim votes.  They have allowed a free run to India's enemies to establish a strong presence within key Indian states, in close proximity to India's military assets.

The attack on Pathankhot was merely a glimpse into India's vulnerability on this front.

In a nutshell, India is hemmed in by world powers and exposed by the sins of commission and omission of its own political leaders.

A careful analysis of PM Modi and DM Parrikar's actions over the past 18 months suggests that they understand these constraints and are acting accordingly.

Their restraint is responding to Pakistan's continued betrayal should not be bucketed with the inaction displayed by previous Indian regimes.

So how is PM Modi different from his predecessors?

1.  PM Modi is working towards a permanent and decisive victory that will solve Pakistan for good.  By all and any means neccessary

2.  The world is now a very different place than it has been over the past 70 years.  Communism has been replaced by Islamism as the biggest threat to the world community.  Most westerners now recognize Pakistan's central role in birthing this evil into a 21st century existence.

This recognition presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for India to vanquish Pakistan out of existence.

PM Modi's bonhomie with Pakistan must be seen in this light.  It is for western consumption but make no mistake, the  PM's actions suggest he's preparing for a day of reckoning in a not so distant future.

3. Building India's military supply lines.
By making the manufacture of military hardware the cornerstone of his 'Make in India' campaign, PM Modi has signaled his desire to end or significantly diminish India's military dependence on foreign powers.  This will help in the event of a conventional war.  Pakistan's military and its economy cannot sustain an all out war beyond a 2 week window.

It is for this reason that Pakis rattle their nuclear saber at the mere suggestion of an all out war.  It is also for this reason that Pakistan has developed a large arsenal of tactical nukes to be used on the battle field.

4. Since taking power the NDA govt has displayed a new found urgency in destroying ISI's cells across India.  This is vital as Pakistan can use these cells to keep Indian forces occupied with internal trouble and open a second front across India.

5. Building a strong pipeline of FDI in Indian economy is another pillar in the emerging military doctrine.  If the world is heavily invested in India with key mission critical operations run from Indian soil.  Pakistan will face the added pressure not to use even tactical nuclear weapons.  PM Modi's appeal to Chinese companies to invest in India should be seen in this light.

This is precisely the strategy deployed by China which has helped it neutralize Western pressure and allowed it to escalate its 'salami' strategy with great success.

6.  PM Modi is playing for time.  A Europe swamped by radical Islam will be much more sympathetic to India.  Similarly, though Obama and any democratic successor will continue to harbor a soft corner for Pakistan, the American public is reaching its wit's end. Tired and frustrated with Islam and Muslims and ready to support any country which can put an end to the source of this evil.

With the Iran Vs. Saudi conflict evolving into a Shia-Sunni world war, playing for time makes much more sense.  Pakistan is bound to be sucked into this conflict.  If not explicitly than certainly implicitly with the participation of its own carefully nurtured 'non-state' actors.

Any suggestion that Pakistan is contributing to the success of Iran's enemies will open a new avenue for India (if it hasnt already) via the Iranian border and allow the escalation of support for an independent Baluchistan.

Iran's continued openness to India's involvement in key ports and infrastructure in lieu of China's help should be seen as an indicator of Iran's concern.  Iran doesnt want China to have leverage over it in the event of Pakistan following its Sunni instincts and working against Iran.

Given these factors, PM Modi is on the right track.  Revenge is a dish best served cold.  For the next 2-3 years, the best reaction is no reaction.  Let Pakistan provoke and annoy India.  India should remain focused on building and modernizing her military base.

Domesticate military supply lines, build a strong economy and allow the animals to kill each other.  Prepare for the opportune time.

For destiny bows to the prepared and the patient.

Jai Hind.
